Ok but what kind of thickness will i need for the sheet metal?

Okay, before we go cutting the sheets for the canopy, how thick must the sheets be if we build a canopy without a frame? 3/5mm? or thicker?

We'll, it's necaserry to i can lock it, if we go to a horse riding grand prix or something like that, i want the saddle and other things locked away, so something with a zipper wouldn't be safe enough.

The 3mm is so strong but it is overkill Agreed! 1.6mm is sufficient for the sides, provided there is a relativele sturdy frame like 10mm alu. square tubing.
