AFAIK Kz's don't have EGR's.

That bit of oil is not really a concern.

There are quite a few tips and trick on this forum to improve Kz performance. Search for 'Airbox mod', Freeflow exhaust and intercooler and Unichip.

Re: Opinons on diesel tuning chips

Welcome Sid,

Unfortunately what you want to achieve is not possible - to gain some power and use less fuel? It is not possible - you must choose one.

If you can not find a dyno to tune your car better then leave it well alone as a badly/incorrect tuned chip WILL break the engine.

5L is VERY slow and low on power. WL, Kz, 5VZ, Lexus, etc. all is too expensive for the value of the vehicle and then you have a bastardised vehicle with no secondhand value which is very hard to insure.

Either live with the underpowered engine or sell and buy something more powerful.

Behind the kick panel next to your right foot, or is it now at your right knee(???) there is a place where you can plug in the remote - the backside with the metal strip.

Pop the remote in there and the hooter should honk(IIRC) and bob's your uncle!
