D4D / GD6 front bumper and chassis
To the Guru's out there - will the front winch bracket and tow bar from the D4D fit the GD8. I have been told it will but would like some more feed back before I strip the front and try refit my winch behind the bumper again.

Get the part number from the dealer and count the pins in the plugs before you order it, be careful of the airbag etc. when fitting

Hi All Please can someone give me some advice. It is my understanding that if you get a marine radio license from ICASA you can not use that marine radio on the beach. So if you have a "base station" in your vehicle it is illegal to talk to a boat at sea from your vehicle. Is this correct ...

Hi All
Just bought a 2nd hand Eazi Awn roof top tent and I need to fit it to my Dbl Cab.
Does any one have details to remove the roof lining to fit the roof rack rail.
Any tips or warnings would be appreciated before I start drilling into the roof

Virgo Diesel dead spot at 2000 RPM
Hi All I have just had a bad batch of Diesel put in my car, I had to have the tank removed and the entire system cleaned. However after this unnecessary expense my Hilux had developed a "dead" spot at 2 000RPM. I have just changed the rule filter agin and think that the mechanic may have m...

Faulty fuel gauge
So it seems that I ran out of diesel today despite the gauge reading just over 1/4 tank.
My Hilux Virgo has just done 110 000km so it is out of warrantee.
How easy is it to get the gauge control in the tank of a Virgo Hilux, do I need to remove the tank?
Any advise would be appreciated

Legend - Side steps or Rock Sliders
Hi All
I can get a set of "side steps / running boards " for a Hilux Legend for R 2 500 from the local scrap yard.
1. Is this the going price
2. Would they be strong enough to use as rock sliders
Thanks in advance

Re: Fitting Bullbar/front bumper
I have the BB however there are a few brackets missing, (which I can make). The filler between the bumper and the lights is missing. Can anyone identify the make of the BB for me so that I can get the filler from the agent. I do not want to cut the bumper if I do not have to.

Long range swop (Kzn)
Hi All
I am about to upgrade my existing 2009 Hulux for the 2012 shape -
I need to move my long range tank to the new vehicle, is this a simple job or do I need to take it to a fitment center to do the job.
Does any one know of any instruction manual that is available?
Thanks in advance

Hi All
I am thinking about swoping my 4l petrol for a diesel, but I am not sure to go Auto or Manual.
What is the general feeling?
Why is there a demand for the manual and you can get the auto from existing stock?
