I am lookng for the tailgate handle, imported type tailgate, anyone know where I can get this....will the stealers have? Also looking for those little black plastic covers that sit on the c-pillarbehind the rear door. Have the right one but need the left one.

Seems I cant stop myself, so here we go again....it wont be a full body off restoration like the last one (got my asking price for it) because my wife will shoot me...lol Basic details on this one is a normal DC in need of some love, replacing both front doors and fenders, rust in driver foorwell......

Its a normal bolt but the nut is the fancy part.....it goes throught the metal plate and then flairs on both side of the plate, thus giving you a place to bolt the door panel too without welding anything or those crappy plastic body clips

Yup treadplate, lazer cut based on the origional doorpanels, works very well. Foam tape on the back to stop rattles and mounted with allenkey crush bolts (odd little thing but works damn well) Had to go measure quick, they are 100mm shackles... @OOOOMS: everything has a price.....lol.....yup still s...

Sup guys, have no idea how to get pics posted from my android tablet so it might be a while tille there are pics but I will keep trying....promise.... Body restoration was done by a collection of people and to be honest it is best if you do it yourself...I have spent about 50K on the body....things ...

The grill is the std hilux grill I just removed the little fins inbetween and reprayed it satin black. Then i fitted the mesh behind to keep the big debris from hitting the radiator.

The rim size is the problem, I have a 15" rim and like you said the full kit only fits on the 16" and bigger, my Tires only fit 15" rims so I have to stay with that size. They also don't offer the normal disk upgrade for the SFA, so the way I am going is my only option. I should have ...

In short......NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER take your vehicle to BIG BOSS AUTO, my car has been there for almost 2 months to get the brakes done, and low and behold they have done nothing.....blaming it on all kinds of retarded stuff......and now I have to get a court order to get my car away ...

Got the seats for free, a friend owed me a favour so lucky me :) had to recover them and tha cost me about R2800 bit pricey but I like the end result! Car went in to the brakes and the rest of the goodies sorted so it will be about a week before I have any more pics to show you guys......it's really...

thats a good point.....any suggestions on how to lock the entire drive train when the vehicle is parked? Twin gealocks would look a bit strange.......but if it's the only way then so be it...

Just a quick question regarding the clutch system on the SFA, is it possible to install a solenoid in the system thus enabeling you to disable the clutch on the vehicle. My main reason for this type of mod would be as an anti-theft device, with just a gearlock they can still just hit the clutch and ...

Ok the body is complete, slightly changed the colour, the previous colour was a bit light.......so this is the FINAL colour......all accesories on the Vehicle will be black.

Just an Update on what is still to be done..........final fitment of the engine and G-box was done this wknd.....chassis has now been sent for spray so that final assembly can begin.......the load bin has also been sent for rubberising. I have my origional Gearbox and motor if anyone is interested.....

Final assembly has begun.......finally.......had major issues with the body work.........alot of moola later and the problems are sorted.....wooo hooo:) Here are some pics of the progress........G-Box will be painted just got it back from modification (new bell housing to fit the V8.......

No worries.....I was coming home about 2am in the morning...I used to organise bands and rock events when I was back in SA.....I noticed a car following me on the highway (box shape BMW white) the main reason I noticed them is because a Hilux isnt exactly fast so I was doing about 100kmh up the hill...

well the deadline for end of April was way way way too ambitious....will prob only get the body back by next wknd....there was alot of repairing work to be done. The Engine will be fitted soon just too sort out clearance issues, suspenion has been done...will post a pic when I have one :D Ive droppe...

As you can see its in a very bad state, but that is about to change! So what did i do before I left her alone in SA....here goes: I replaced the whole braking system, drums, disks, pads, springs, seals pipes the works just to be sure I dont have future worries, however I will upgrade to the Cruiser ...

Unfortunately that option has come and gone, they siad I could buy it for 12K but i was not in the best mental state and just wanted to get rid of it, but in hindsight I was a bit of a spanner....it was the import version with all those expensive hard to come by bits :| Im pretty sure some scrap yar...
