Myne is amper 70 mm gelig - toe fit ek die 4mm bash plate die volgende dag. Nou "ge-settle" op so 60 tot 65 mm lift.

Staan nou mooi gelyk - voor tot agter. EN die links tot regs "lean" is ook nou uitgesorteer. :)

Ons het gister die Riviersonderend 4X4 roete gaan ry op bladsy 85 van Weg Ry se 101 roetes. Ek weet nie hoe hierdie ouens dit in die boek gemaak het nie so skrap dit maar van jou lys af. Ek het eers gemeet - 1 of 2 mm na n kant toe. Toe trek ek hom net vas. Was reg om te "space" met n waster aan elke kant indien nodig .... :)

PS - watter N.m beveel jy aan vir daai boute?

Ek het n Burnco bumper laat opsit.

Ek was vir 2 sekondes spyt toe ek die swart bumper sien op die Hilux.

Na die eerste trip is ek oortuig dit is die regte kleur !

The factory "dust gaurd" is barely 1 mm thick. Many bash plates are 2 or 3 mm thick. The one that Uys makes is 4 mm then you also get 5 mm think ones. Now you get to a point where the bash plate can no longer absorb impacts and transfers it directly to the suspension .... The bash plate ne...

I went as far as buying the Connect-It "starter kit". Then fiddled with it, and read up some more .... The first project I wanted to do with it was the shelving in my garage. The ability to perfectly customise the shelve hights really appealed to me. Got the dimensions and phoned Maiseys ....

Net minder as 4000km - soos in NUUT Dit is duidelik n dud part. Ek kan sekerlik dit opneem met Toyota, maar die wa gaan off road gebruik word. Dankie Riaan Ek is nie "brand vas" nie. Soos iemand dit nou die dag beskryf, my Hilux se voor suspensie het n slow puncture. Die linker voor kant sak .... Daar is al spacers ingesit, net meer as 2 000 km later is dit al weer laer as die regter kant. OME en Ironman is maar die brands wat me...

Okkie BAIE MOOI nommer plaat. :) Saw a Nissan driver walk the water check everything AND then attaching the recovery strap, throwing the rest of the strap on the back of his bakkie. Only then did he wade into the water. Not sure if this is a "Nissan thing" or at all needed for Toyotas .......
