LED lights - Options?

I'm considering the possibility of using LED lights as hand-held spot lights (as security lights) at watch towers - we have solar panels and 12V batteries at the sites Would vehicle type LED spot lights serve this purpose better than small LED light bars? I can get 2 relatively new 51W LED spot ligh...

Re: Looking into owning a Surf.

Hi Louis
I've been driving a 2000 Surf with the 2700i motor and auto gearbox for some time and I really enjoy it
I'm past my "storm en drang jare" so I'm very comfortable with the fuel consumption too
Mine is registered in Botswana - a family member renews the license every year

We use a 2000 Surf with the 2700i and really enjoy it; we've experienced it to be reliable
The only drawback is the lack of "product support" for it in the RSA - we have not been able to source a replacement windscreen for it (as an example) but might be able to source 1 in Botswana?
