After quite a few years of inactivity, a google search threw up a post from Dadz Toy and reminded me of the place. Same SFA, although EFId since I was last in here. Re: Spitronics ? is it good or not
Mine was the install Dadz mentioned earlier. Has been running smoothly since 2011, haven't had issues with it in that time. Not sure about the newer ones though, wouldn't mind getting my hands on one.
That said, a new cab first would probably be a priority.

Re: Towhitch wiring
This sounds more like the trailer wiring that's not matching the wiring code of the female plug. Na, definitely the Lux's light cluster connecter. Bypassed this (after removing all the trailer wiring splices), and works like a dream. Having thought it was the trailer wiring intiailly, I had removed...

Thanks everyone for the advice. That wiring diagram will come in handy when I get around to re-connecting the towhitch. In the meantime, I managed to rip out 3, yes 3, separate sets of splices for the extra plug. It looks like the original had been replaced over time, but why they all felt it necess...

Towhitch wiring
Hi All Having finally found an hour to try and sort out the rear indicator wiring problem I was having, it is a complete mess under there, primarily where they have obviously cut/spliced/respliced/looped wires around in order to wire in the towhitch connection. Can anyone tell me where the switch is located for the reverse lights?
Is it internal to the gearbox?
Am having a couple of wiring problems which I am trying to troubleshoot.

Jason, the whole unit is cheap as chips at Commercial in Salt River - you'll just need to switch the actual glass between the two as theirs come with flat glass which is terrible to look into. Oh bugger!!! I was on my way home from Commercial on Friday when it first started happening
