Mine was the install Dadz mentioned earlier. Has been running smoothly since 2011, haven't had issues with it in that time. Not sure about the newer ones though, wouldn't mind getting my hands on one.

That said, a new cab first would probably be a priority.

When switching of unnecessary plugs in the house for 2 weeks, make really, really, REALLY sure not to turn off the one for the freezer full of meat!

Is it internal to the gearbox?

Jason, the whole unit is cheap as chips at Commercial in Salt River - you'll just need to switch the actual glass between the two as theirs come with flat glass which is terrible to look into. Oh bugger!!! I was on my way home from Commercial on Friday when it first started happening :evil: :evil:

It's probably because of this that I find time to wave........similar issue with all my aforementioned vehicles, although the Hilux is definitely the quickest of them.

Heading down to George (I am in Cape Town) on Sunday. It's a factory standard pretty much everything, 1991 2.2L, with about 100K on the clock! My first Toyota, although drove quite a few for work. Previously been Series 2 and 3 Landies, and currently an SJ410. Seems I can't get away from solid axles!
