It was standing for almost 7 years when we got it, back on the farm we opened the tank to find almost VROT petrol in the tank, we poured in about 10 l fresh petrol and started it. It ran with no problem other than lots of smoke...

Hi,
Is there perhaps someone that have info on Brospeed conversions on the 22R motor? I am not sure what stage I've got on the motor I am putting in but it is gasflowed with branches and so...
I know standard output is 80kw at 4000rpm and 186nm at 3200rpm.

Mmm, regarding the petrol.... I guess I will only be sure about the consumption once it is in and I drive around with it, hope it is not to much of a killer though! The vehicle it came out did have 31's on... Luckily at the current rate that diesel is increasing it should still work out to pretty mu...

Ek het 'n AC pomp, wat werk. Ek kan hom nie gebruik nie omdat die brackets verkeerd is vir my diesel enjin. Ek sal 'n foto van hom neem dan kan ons dalk 'n deal uitwerk as jy sou belangstel om hom aan te skaf vir onderdele.

Jean-Pierre Welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay. SFA = Solid Front Axel. So your 2.7 in it's original body will be a IFS = Independent Front suspension. Eric Have you ever considered swapping the tyres on the SFA an IFS and see what happens with decent 31's on the SFA? But you may run into problems with getting the IFS' rimms over the SFA's brake calliper :? :? The IFS alloys / rims doesnt fit the SFA. I have tried. The tie rod ends are in the way.

Mine is out by a mile! It stays on full or the first 120km or so, then it suddenly plunges down to empty, with only 300km on the clock, when in actual fact there is still at least 30 liters in the tank. :shock: I now use the odo to determine how full/empty the tank are, it is at least more accurate ...

Also had a "clack-clack" sound on braking. Got a set of anti rattle clips from Toyota at R81 and voila, sound magically disappeared!

I'll never buy pirate engine mountings again. They dont last at all (or the ones I bought). The ones I installed only lasted about 4000km and then the rubber got soft.
My pirate wiper motor performs well though.

Leon daai pyn in jou skouer is ek wat besig is om jou arm te draai. Bennie, maak geen fout nie, ek voel die pyn. Ek dink dit is regtig iets wat ek gaan oorweeg.
