Correction, that was tested in Jan 2016, but I tried it again and ..... the hazards are working again. The clue was that the hazard unit was working because the indicators were never faulty. The switch gave power to the hazard unit as it clicked once before stopping. So glad it's not a short or faul...

My hazards have now stopped working even with the aftemarket bumber globes removed. How/where do I start looking for the relay? It may even be the switch itself.

Chris, that question is never asked. Running and maintenance cost of a mid-sized gennie? Also probably the least 'green' solution. Lets say R100 fuel for each 4 hour loadshed it could come to say R1000 per month for 10 loadsheds and R12000 per year! can buy a lot of panels for that price.

Kobusl, ek vermoed 'n diesel enjin soek meer as 400A om te vat. Kyk eers wat jou voertuig se battery CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) 'rating' is.

For maximum enjoyment, stay in one place at least 2-3 days unless you want to spend the whole trip travelling, setting up and breaking down camp! Been there done that, enjoyed it, but almost needed a holiday to recover.

Hi Kobus. 1st of all those "TJM" shocks look a bit suspect, they supposed to be gold like you say. Look for any marking that say Tjm, it must be clearly encraved on them. Look for the part no. aswell. For the blades and coils they should last loooong except if there was any change in the ...
