First was sometime in '96,rebuilt Hilux lwb bakkie that was stolen,and never recovered,in '99.my father helped me get that 1,but I paid for it. :-).

Thanks guys.
I forgot to mention,I never wash the engine or engine bay,this occurred after I hosed the rear wheel arches and suspension.

I have been through deep mud at least once a week in december,going to a shooting range near where i live (Broadway shooting club,for the other Durbanites). On 2 occasions,i washed the mud off my bakkie (97 hilux d/c),including the under carriage. On both occasions,my vehicle failed to start.the sta...

rebuilt Toyota lwb Hilux bakkie,2.2 petrol.got it in '95,was stolen [and never recovered] in '99.
next was the '89 Hilux lwb 4x4 which a friend gave to me at a ridiculous price.
i sold that 1 and bought my dream car.Hilux d/c 4x4
