Hello guys!! it's Julio, from Spain!! I've just bought a 2017 Hlux Revo... and I'm gonna build a good 4x4 for sand and mud. I've own in the past some other cars like Nissan Safari, etc but this new car has a lot of electronic stuff. In concrete, I would like to switch off the ABS. I found the fuses...

Acquiring a Hilux
It’s a while since I’ve last participated on this forum. I changed vehicles over the years and now possibly looking to get a Hilux.... The decision is however is not so easy. I have a few questions on the newer Hilux’s as I am only familiar with the pre-98 versions. My requirements: Double Cab 4x4 A...

The rear isn't a problem but 32" will foul on the foot-wells in front. A body lift isn't going to solve the problem with articulation. Move the axle, much easier to do than a body lift anyway. Even with the OME lift, the front prop slip joint can easily handle the 30mm forward shift. You just ...

Not to forget tyre pressure guys! I loaded a lot of extras on my Jimny, anything and everything you can imagine as this is still one of the last cheap solid front axle vehicles on the market. My consumption dropped from 13km/l to about 9km/l (also thanks to the nice oversized BF's). I increased the ...

If that happens, just leave it for a while. Once it hardens most of that will come away with a stiff nylon brush and if it still looks too bad you can always give it another coat. Yip, will leave it for another 6 weeks (that is until my next trip) . Luckily my Jimny is not my daily drive, only used...

Thomas, I'm not sure but it could just be some resin or sticky oil from the product that's risen to the surface. if it doesn't come off on your hands, then I don't think it's a train smash but if you can scrape it off with your nail then something has prevented curing. I would leave it for a while ...

This is now reviving a thread of about 10 years ago. I used the ABE Autokote product, which contains the Bitumen. 79 4.2D LC double cab (2016) does not come with a service plan. And services are VERY pricey and servicing is every 7500km and wheel bearing replacement every 40 000km.
