Thanks for the update. Always good to find out what the issue turned out to be.

With the Tech stream software you can modulate the turbo actuator to check if it’s working

Re: 15" x 10J Rims on a VIGO

With the first "facelift" in 2009 the Hilux came out with the 2005 Fortuner 16"mags and larger brake discs and calipers in front.

Not all the models got this bigger brakes up front like the SRX models.

An easy way to check is the Powerbrake website:

My guess would be that you are on the money when you suggest idler pulley bearing. It may feel OK but doesn't mean that it is. Sometimes these sealed bearings start to run "dry" as the grease inside hardens with age and heat. You could try getting some W40 to seep in there and see if it makes a dif...

Everyone who chips their bakkies gets excited by the Amazing fuel consumption figures displayed by the ECU

Meanwhile the actual fuel consumption has gone up as the extra fuel added by the chip to increase the power goes unmetered by ECU hence the lower figure shown by the ECU

Really impossible to say with the information at hand.

Personally I would find it hard to pay more than book value. Even with extras fitted.

Older cars like SFA Hiluxes easily fetch way over book value but I dont think the Vigo are there yet.
