Re: SAS or 2.7i Conversion...??
Numbnut, You will not go wrong with the 3RZ and SFA. Go for the 8 port, it`s lighter on fuel. Bought my SFA a few years ago with 3RZ intalled. It`s managed by Micro Teck system. Regarding power? You do not have to do any mods to get power. It`s reliable and with lots of "poeier" :D Cheers

Re: Replacement of Center Carrier Bearing
Thanks but I`ll rather dismantle the driveshaft and take it to a Eng. shop for replacement. I`ve already bought the bearing from the Agent...ok Stealer, but only the casing and bearing thus the additional work to be done. For some reason I believe to replace parts on the Hilux with the genuine (Stea...

Please help!

Re: Noise from underneath
Thanks Guys.
Simon, I will check all bolts and nuts as per your advice.
I have replaced a Universal recently on the main drive. What is the possibility of the Centre Carrier Bearing not being aligned properly and how does one go about to align the bearing?
Thanks

Noise from underneath
All Technical Fundi`s During my weekend trip to the Kalahari, I heard a ratteling noice from underneath whenever I de-excelarated or decended down hill. It sounded like loose washers against each other or/and a rattling noise. The sound stays the same if I disengage the gears and decompress the clut...
