Simple, half your service kilometers to replace the Diesel Filter to sort out any diesel quality issues. Louis, Please correct me if I'm wrong... Is there also not some sort of problem with the pump and injectors that the high suphur content causes? AFAIK this is the main reason for engine problems...

To Me this looks like a combination of balancing and either worn shocks or a badly set up suspension. You can throw the tyres away as no amount of adjustment will save them now. In fact if you sorted the problem and kept the badly worn tyres it may even feel worse.

I'm not so sure about pressures as high as 2.8 on tar with BF Muds .... they have a damn hard side side-wall .... Stuart, Please check the fuel cut off solenoid. (If you have a carb) Sometimes these things become faulty and they don't cut the fuel off when the ignition is switched off. From your pictures that looks like the rust is in the chassis, is that correct? If so, your best bet is find a old chassis and cut and fit from the old chassis into your one. That will be your best short term solution, but for long trem, I would suggest a complete new chassis. This is all base on if...

If you are worried about the warranty, simply replace the fuse with a BLOWN fuse. In the case of an accident, who can say that the fuse never blew as a result of the accident.

I went the greasing route when I overhauled Bolt's leaf packs, definitely made the ride more supple and quieter. But after a good high pressure clean alot of the grease is forced out. Pressure wash the dirt out of the blades and spray a can of Q20 or whatever all over the leaf pack, hangers and pins. 10:1 says that stops the problem...however this may also as discussed above be a result of worn components. I would do the lube first then, if it persists, a suspension service/overh...

Tentco have some as well but they are the ones with the steel poles that you have to fit together so it's not quick to erect. However it is waterproof and strong unlike the campmaster ones.

31" fits nicely. I heard the km's on Maxxi's aint that good. my 2c worth I fitted the Maxxis Big Horn to my SFA, they were brilliant in the mud and snow, wet tar and the like. However as with anything there is always compromise, you cannot have a tyre that is brilliant in traction and mileage....

Don't forget that if you have not adjusted your brakes correctly they will lock up. There is a correct sequence to do this and somewhere on the forum this has been discussed. Also, Don't forget that you must not overload the axel as the RTI are getting very strict now and are not only pulling over trucks but also sedans and 4wd's and weighing them at the weigh bridge. Rather invest in a trailer for the longer trips where you will take the family.
