Re: Bonnet protector
What if you have a snorkel? Will that help with the air intake?

Re: My eerste 4x4 is 'n D4d 3.0

Re: Road conditions
Thanks Mark, yes I read your full trip report and enjoyed it thoroughly. I have only heard that it has rained alot up there and people that have been there before say that we might not be able to reach kubu. And that Mamili might even be accessible at all. So what do you do when in need of good advi...

Re: Road conditions
Has anyone maybe been to the Caprivi in the last few weeks and know what the road conditions are like from Katima Mulilo to Madumu and Mamili game reserves?

Road conditions
Good day to all Has anybody been to the Makgadigadi pans in the last month or so? I need to know what the conditions of the roads are to get to Kubu island from the south and then from there to Njuca Hills and Xhumaga? If you are going there in the near future, enjoy it and please let me know when y...

Re: Nitrogen Tyres
Another reply I received from the manager after asking him about mixing the nitrogen with compressed air after self inflating the tyres: It will make a difference as normal air has H2O which will mix with nitrogen, thus making the tyre pressure normal again, but feel free to bring the vehicle back aga...

Re: Nitrogen Tyres
Just to add something, I emailed Autowiel Centurion and received this reply: Good day Reinhardt, It does make a difference as the tyres run cooler, therefore obviously they get better mileage, another advantage is that the tyre pressure remains more constant than normal air and it’s only necessary t...

Nitrogen Tyres
Calling all experts I tried to find something about inflating your tyres with Nitrogen, but only found Nitrogen shock posts. I do know a bit more about that now. I read that it oxygen and moisture can cause oxidation and rust, and nitrogen stays cooler for optimum tyre pressure and is more consisten...

Re: Hella plug for Hilux
The problem I have is that the fridge is not mine, it is someone else's and he only has a hella plug fitted onto it.
I have read on numerous other topics that Brad Harrison is probably better. But how do make his hella plug work with my Brad Harrison?

Hella plug for Hilux
Good day all
Does anybody know of someone that can do a Hella plug fitment in the back of a Hilux? I need a plug to run a fridge.
I contacted some of the larger chain stores, but I think they overcharge. So any assistance will be much appreciated.

Sodwana to Ndumo
Good day to all fellow Hilux people. I am planning a trip in December to go to Sodwana and then Ndumo and I will be travelling alone. My plan is to go to Ndumo, from Sodwana, via Lake Sibaya and Mabibi and Black Rock. I have spoken to a couple of people regarding the safety of that route and receive...
