Very neat welding, looks good.

Sometimes I wish I could be as handy ... can do a few things, but not this....

Enjoy.

Re: Replacing shocks

I have came across the same dilemma a few years ago with a Fortuner. Fitted a Gas type Gabriel if I remember correctly, ... and had no problems at all doing so. The OME's started leaking - but just in front.

Re: Tire size on Prado 90

The standard was indeed 265/70/R16. If there is enough space in the wheel arches on std coils and shock set-up, you could go to 265/75/R16 and yes 235/85/R16 is pretty much the same diameter. That size tyre will not cause more body roll. These tyres works well with aftermarket suspension like OME an...

Re: Hilux D/C KZ-TE Rear D/Lock

Hilux D/C KZ-TE Rear D/Lock

Have a non-working rear diff-lock on a 2002 D/cab 4x4 - not a Gearmax one. Toyota says all the vacuum pipes work as well as all electrics. When the switch is engaged - the R/Diff Lock sign flashes red on the dash board?? I tested it - the diff does not lock. Any experience with this before - someone...
