Clean the area (with parrefin) out firstly once you have pin pointed out where the squeek is coming from. May well be that one of your bushes are worn. In which case you will have to replace em More here: http://www.hilux4x4.co.za/views/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8960&hilit=lube+blades" oncli...

Re: Anyone got a squeak?
Not on mine, however is you get under the rear of the vehicle and get someone to bounce / rock the rear end, you should be able to hear it. Prob coming from the leafs of shackles I suspect exactly that, gonna get the girlfriend to do some bouncing (of the bakkie) this weekend so I can pin point it....

Anyone got a squeak?
My hilux has a squeak coming from its backside  , seriously though, it has one coming from the rear suspension somewhere, or so it sounds, basically only hear it on bumps, no matter how minor. Has anyone else experienced anything like this on the same model hilux? If so, have you been able to ...

One of the things I love about my hilux is, if I hit a pothole, I dont really stress, just smile and wave and drive on, I wanna see him hit one

Re: Trouble changing fuel filter element
Seems you have done the correct 'thing' by removing the whole filter. (disconnect the two electrical plus!) Remove the filter  The fastener nut you should be able to loosen by 'hand' clockwise. The only reason I think it is tight is as a result of dirt having gotten into the grooves. Other...

Re: Most irratating thing with your Lux
Not much wrong with the Trusty Hilux. I only have 3 minor complaints with mine, maybe someone can help me solve them too. 1. The handbrake, cable seems to stretch in no time, I readjust and not long after I am pulling the handle up to the roof. 2. bollie Head lights, I honestly expect the brights to...
