Depends on how much you love it. You calculated that repair cost will be around R80k. If you have that available you can sell the KZ for R90k, as is, add the R80k and you have R170k cash on deposit for newer model or even buy a newer model cash. Hi

I had a similar sound on my KZ. It turned out to be the tensioner pulley that was slightly dry. Took it off, cleaned it, oiled it .... problem solved.

You can also check the shocks for the cruisers. I know way back when, when drive out did that blue bakkie, they fitted cruiser shocks to compensate for the travel shortfall after the lift. HDP's is very nice.
