ours is a 1996 raider came with aircon no diff lock was'nt diff lock an after market option, can't remember any toyota bakies of that vintage having one. little difference between 2.2 & 2.4 as the guys say go for overall condition

ja lets hear the other side, poor guy had an accident in which 2 impala were killed (rest shot by rangers because of injuries) tracker system records show a speed of 52 klm\hr damage to vehicle on right side not front. plenty meat in that camp, will try and get more facts about accident from sanparks

good call raise the back and rock the wheels any movement is bad also if bearings are worn gear oil will start to leak past the seal into the brakes good luck

sorry man this is not a DIY job unless you have the experience and a well kitted workshop I didn't want to make it sound simple, has one of the bearings failed completely or can the truck be driven.

hello robert, it's a ball bearing held in place by press fit collar and snap ring (no pre load) you will need help to cut off the old collar and remove old bearing, buy the bearing kit complete with new seal. check it's the right kit there are two types off diff local and import. better to get the n...

always used red fuel not green but bakkie will burn anything you get dodgy fuel up north heavy pinking, mixed with paraffin god knows what else here in SA at the coast get 7km/ lt (red fuel replaced the old leaded)

jaco what vehicle will you be travelling in, all the roads in sa to ponta are tar right to the kosi boarder gate, drive through the boarder control, bang!!! sand tracks cars must be left in the parking lot on the SA side, a 2x4 bakkie might make it but you will get stuck somewhere even in the middle...

hello mr T have had to use bad fuel (20% paraffin!!!) who knows, in southern africa always thought that was the reason, heavy picking had to stall truck to switch it off. must say never solved the problem but since SAC did their thing alls good will check the circuit as you say thanks

val did your canons have rechargeable battery packs this fuji gobbles penlights, my old nikon is still a "mechanical" manual wind on with FP shutter the small lithium battery just for the light meter have'nt been able find out how the D500 is powered
