i dont know what the cause of the failure of the idler arm was initially, but things were sorted (non-Toyota part) and i never had another issue untill the day i sold it in Feb 2012. i have since moved on to a double cab (avatar pic) and have loved it, even though the fuel consumption was a bit wors...

When i bought the hilux i did get the 30 day period should anything break, which the dealer honoured. They are a private dealership and i have heard good things about them. The replacement idle arm came with a 1 year gaurantee, thats why they were happy to change it for a second time. I cannot prove...

Correction regarding 4xTech and AEW Auto i was mislead reagrding these two companies and want to state that they are or have been in no way connected to each other. Well then let hope for a bit of rain just to spice it up! i wont mind now that i got a radio from Family Dog, so no more shouting out the window or running uphill to find out if its clear! The mountain route offers a few lovely steep climbs over loose ground and one particularly challenging descent....
