most diesel owners will let them run for a few minutes(5) check for leaks etc but they are usually allot liter in the thick sand on fuel.In the late 80's game scouts ran Toyota Stouts only 2 wheel drive in the Kalahari and got to where they need to be.

If you just want to see if someone is there it is fine but you will not be able to identify a person after the fact.For that you need good 2mp cameras and if there is an indecent chance are the cops will not even collect the footage.4 channel dvr and 4x cameras approx R6500

Its all about price and then analog cameras which are a lot cheaper and dvr that you can run 24/7 then the Ethernet cameras that have a lot more flexibility.

hunt around most spares shops have electrical or mechanical oil pressure meters for approx R250 check pressure as if I am correct crank mains might be a issue.

Agree to run Shell Rimula had Isuzu diesel for years and every one was shocked when motor was striped how clean it was.And would only do oil changes every 5000km.Not a GTX fan.

My father in law has a Isuzu 300Tdi top mount inter cooler and it is a good work horse and good fuel consumption with good drive and power.I really do like them.

I went to jhb to tow a golf back with a friend across the road he has the Toyota 2.5D s/c with a uprated leaf on the back due to permanent load.I drove the 2.5 and he was in the golf and I must say that I was impressed with the 2.5d.

run a wire from battery positive to pump solenoid and if it still cuts out take the plunger out of the solenoid if possible and this will then eliminate electrical issues.

Fitted BF AT's two weeks ago to the front of the SFA and done a trip to Sabie this weekend and are impressed with low road noise and ride was also good.31x10.5x15 cost me R1500 per and thought it was a good price.

The Isuzu 300 tdi was a brilliant motor and far as I am concerned better than all most every other.On lose stuff sometimes momentum is a must but with plenty of tour q and kilowatts from that motor maybe high range 2nd would have been an option.
