Berakah is lekker, maar omdat dit in 'n "world heritage site" is, is die ernstiger hindernisse sement gegooi. Dit beskerm alles mooi, maar dit haal baie van die lekker speel uit.

Moegatle is beter in daai opsig. Dalk moet ons daar 'n draai gaan maak.....(skimp skimp)

Also if the OEM seal is within your budget rather use it over the pirate ones! I'll use that advice. Already had to go through this to change the diff ratio, and the lubricant that came out of there does not come out. One scrapped shirt. :blushing: Handige link om daai seel te vervang Thanx Lollie!!

Along the same lines, at last year's 4x4 interclub fun day, the Isuzus scored higher points on the Gelandewagens abstacle than they did themselves. Never underestimate the importance of the nut holding the wheel....steering wheel that is :cooldude:

I could give you guys all sorts of theories about lateral leverage, diff twist resistance, front propshaft length variation, etc. etc.... and it will spark so many debates(I'll call it for now :cool: ) that this thread will carry on to the end of days. In my case it is my chassis design that dictate...

Some of you guys know that I've been playing with the thought of throwing out the IFS on my Isuzu Frontier, and fitting and SFA assembly. Well, it's past thinking now. :cooldude:

Tested her on Saturday. 700mm cross axle wheel travel.

The hilux cv are NTN 100. Is that the SFA diff, or the IFS? The knucle housing itself have only a swiwel of 28 degrees on max adjustment.... ....not good news. One of the Frontiers advantages is the tight turning circle .....unfair advantage!!! Only if it's against the rules :cooldude:

Okay, I've learned that this diff uses an NTN CV. The 6 ball NTN has a 43 degree max angle (know this 'cause the Suz is the same) Now if we could get the 8 ball NTN, the angle goes to 51 degrees. That's a serious turning circle, but they're not available in SA...... Does anybody know what model NTN ...

Thanks ouens....(and gals) Het jy al by Chloorkop gery? Chloorkop? Daar is so kort, steil, klip opdraendjie wat op 'n stadium "sakkie se klip" genoem is. My 300 DMax Isuzu en 280 Frontier albei in standaard form is al daar op. So 80m van hom af is daar so aardige klip afklim, seker 1m vert...

Hi Guys

My "username" is ook my naam, en nee, ek ry nie 'n Hilux nie, maar meer daaroor later :think: ....dalk. Bly in Heidelberg GP, en is redelik gereeld (nooit genoeg nie) in die veld. Wat soek ek hier as ek nie 'n Hilux ry nie? Iets wat ek 'n groter kans staan om hier op te spoor as enige ande...
