Re: 2002 KZTE vs River

Have a look at the propshaft and center carrier bearing of the propshaft, other than that could be a engine mounting.

Hi Mervyn, Not sure if this will help, I am sure the Prado and Hilux of the same year model has more or less the same set up. I purchased a my Hilux with the same issue, only 2 keys, a grey and black key (Grey being the master key) I could only access via the drivers door barrel with the key, this u...

Re: 1994 Hilux 5th Gear

Hi Louis, Some advise, don't just accept price's given to overhaul that gearbox, they are not that expensive to overhaul, one must shop around, I have just helped a friend with his SFA's gearbox, cost him R3800 in parts including input and cluster shaft (new). Overhauled my SFA's gearbox a year ago,...

Re: ABS problem on the KZ-TE

Hi again, apologies for the delay. We experienced this on a friends Hilux so we started with the basics and replaced a couple of things that were worn or damaged due to age and that could have an affect on the brakes. We remove the wheel speed sensors and found the right hand side one full of CV boo...
