You should be careful not to disturb sludge in an old engine as it can dislodge and block oil passages and oil pump pick up filters that could cause a more severe problem than black oil. I have Camel suspension all round and it eats up the Transkei roads, I love it. Tried the roads without the upgrade and could feel how hard the Transkei roads are on standard suspensions, and am sure in a couple of days your bakkie would fall apart.

2007 d/cab 4x4 Auto, with camel suspension all round, onca bullbar and winch, 15 inch tyres - 7.5 km/l with free flow exhaust, and unichip, 120kmh - 150kph no trailer up to Witbank from East London. Towing a large trailer fully loaded back to East London 6.5 km/l plenty of power for towing at 120 kph.
