The front can be improved with a custom BB, but that ugly hump in the rear is there to stay. That can be done at any 4x4 fitment centre. They must use a 20mm spacer on the top of the shock assembly / strut, that will give you 40mm on the wheel and it will be within spec. When selling to shops etc you should do what builders do and charge a 50% deposit up front to confirm the order and to cover the cost of all materials. Then they have to give you the remaing 50% on delivery of the stock. That way you are never at risk of losing money. Yea that is what I will be doi...

Chris you are correct in saying the bend or drop down recovery point is not the best but if you make up one with braces etc then they work well... Remember 90% of the aftermarket replacement bumpers have recovery points and most of them are NOT inline with the chassis rail but they work just as well...

Have a look at the OPPOSITE LOCK replacement bumper.
It Is Airbag compatible and has crumple zones on the main fitting.

Make sure you use sikaflex when installing on the roof it seals no problems and stops it getting loose...
We do it all the time...

On another forum I was told that I dont need to remove my two rtts for this trial. Can anyone confirm this? I would like to use the rtt as sleeping areangements for the night at kungwini and an upcoming trip in very near future... And too lazy to remove and reinstall if not needed. I know someplace...

You can run the 2nd battery in the vehicle and from the main battery to the trailer OR from the 2nd battery in the vehicle to the trailer it makes no difference as long as the connection is done with a fuse and 16SQ or bigger cable to the trailer, and use a 75amp or bigger GREY Brad Harrison plug......
