Re: Strikes in SA

The majority of South Africans has in the past 20 years been shown by our leaders that if you jump up and down you get, get, get!!! It is the example that has been shown to all. We can only hope that our youth of today sees that it's not the way to accomplish anything. I think with the opportunities...

Yes, you do need a license. With your motivation, state that you use it for small game & vermin & birds (hunting). Never say you need it for self-defense. Your application will be rejected if motivating self-defense. And then you waaaaiiiiitttt!!!! :beach:

They are going to do it the way they do everything in SA. First impliment it, then realize that they don't have enough knowledge, manpower or facilities to pull it through. It's a money making racket. Remember how extremely successfull the new fire-arm licensing was handled??? I waited 4 years for m...

3Y ENGINE PROBLEMS

I am experiencing idling problems with a 3Y Engine (Brand new). The engine idles eratically between 1300 and 1700 rpm. She does not idle below 1300 rpm. She cuts out as soon as I slow down and the rpm drops, to stop at a robot. I have fitted a new manifold gasket, checked all hoses for vacuum leaks....

Thank you for the suggestion, it got me thinking... the suzuki had 3 fuel lines, one is an extra line that was connected to a charcoal canister for emission control, fitting the 3Y there is no need for the canister. I blocked the line, but I think that maybe she is still somehow getting air ...

Believe me, custom made seat covers takes about that long to make, expecially if you want a proper (not homemade) look. My wife's in the business. It's hours of fitting & adjusting with personal attention to every detail.

Eventually the Suzuki Vitara with brand new 3Y Engine started, :yahoo: everything sorted except, the idling - she doesn't idle below 1500 rpm, and the ref counter plays up and down between 1500 & 1700. The timing is set a 8 degrees BTDC, any idees on what's causing this. She runs "windgat&q...
