Brakes on 2016 Hilux
So my hilux went in for 20000km service today, as usual get a call from the service man. Sir your front brakes are finish, less than 2mm left. R1900 to replace!
My question. 20000 km on a set of brakes. Is that possible to finish the brakes in 20km?
Prado lasted 50k
105 Cruiser laated R75km

Re: New Fortuner - opinions
Always check when you return to your car, even at work (mine was stolen at work), never reverse into a parking, they use the cover of the other cars or fence or wall.

Re: Please Assist with 4.0 V6 fuel consumption
My finding, let's look at R value. I had a v6 now a 2.8 HILUX Revo. monthly bill on v6 = R5800 on the 2.8 diesel R 2600, same driving style same route every day.
Over 12 months R 69600 versus R 31200. Your holidays are planned around the fuel bill.

Re: Revo
Hi Eric,
What about underneath the traction control buttons, in the that space where one normally throw stuff that rattles. I am also busy fitting mine and there is ample space for the ICOM F5023.
Where did you mount the antenna on the Toyota Hilux Revo?

Make sure you have chains for the wheels, last year a lot of guys got caught without chains and had to sleep at Oxbow lodge while they wait for the road to be cleared from the ice. Cars was all over the road. http://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/showthread.php?t=121949" onclick="window.open...
