I went for the KZT but kept the mechanical fuel pump, to much trouble to move it all to electronic.
I have a few issues but we are sorting as we go. Now the money had stopped so the big waiting has started...

I'm having trouble with the studs,
Toyota Honeydew charged me R41.86 per stud (bolt, hub) and R46.77 for the nuts (Nut, hub). I got 6.

See Pictures - my school fees....
Also don't forget to disengage the hand brake, else you'll not get the drum off.... trust me, I tried. :oops:

The Mag got damaged a bit where the studs wore it out...
anyone now if it can be fixed or should I just het steel rims?

If anyone has some steel rims they want to get rid-off please let me know.

Found it..... The flat tire-sound went away when I increased speed, but when I slowed down it came back. Went home this afternoon, and stopped to pick-up the kids. I've got Bilsteins on the Bakkie and I'm very happy with them. Got great service from Darrell, and will recommend them anytime.

Yes they are more expensive, but replace your OME once and you're over the cost for the Bilsteins.

I've been testing mine for 2 years.

That is the price on the forum I've seen guys say that the Lexus conversion costs - in the end... :shock2:
This includes all the other mods like tires, brakes, suspention ect. that they felt was needed to keep that V8 on the road.

Just got a little bit of schooling --> Thanx Richard (Tokkelos1)

The 2.8d was rebored to get to the 2986cc for the 5L.

Thus I'll have to shelve the rebore issue as there will not be enough material left.

I don't know who worked on the Bakkie before I got it (I got it Oct 2007).

I'm also informed that the housing of the starter was so tightly bolted that it actualy broke...!!! :thumbdown:

But Tokkelos 1 tells me he'll find me a replacement housing. :yahoo:

It only broke at the 5th bounce... We broke 3 LadRovers, 2 MiniBishis and 1 FrotFrd. Someone had to break the fall. Funniest thing... The oil is still pouring out of the Frot!!! This caused the Toy to slip and fell of the CLIFF after which it caught fire and only then did something break inter bellh...

Rough driving mmmm. The max this van has ever done was 139km/hn after it was pushed out of a airplane @ 10 000ft...

I'll take it slow for a while.

I can get a2nd hand bellhouse from B-Con4x4 and I'll ask them to fix it as well.

Since the piece come off, it feels perfect.
Initially I thoughjt it was something in the dashboard....!
The vibration was only every now and then, but now it's gone.
I think the piece was making contact with the stuff insidemm?

I found the problem with the Glow plugs. It seems that when the Bakkie went to SAC, they "adjusted" a wire that was connected to the engine. SAC had all kinds of explanations of what the problem was… SAC even forgot to put the skidplate below the tranfercase (I think it's called) back and ...
