Most Hilux's have a way of self healing... Every problem and noise I ignored after a while went away... The important thing is anyTIME is Hilux TIME... Check the harness/plug where they all meet up ... may have a fried plug... We have the same colour Lux's if you stick a silver raider decal on the s...

OH and if you have a row of spot lights above the roof like on a roll bar ... take it off ... only slows you down and messes up the little aerodynamics on a 4wd thus using more fuel. I find stressing about the few rand saveing on fuel added heaps to my road rage... so now I drive at my mental comfor...

I get that same sHaKeS :? in reverse and more when going up an incline...

Guys, I noticed most of you have taken out the front bench seat (and used it for the hunting seat on the load bin) from the SFA and replaced it with the singel ones... So if you looking for ideas on the gap between the seats... I got a fairly inexpensive electric cooler / warmer from Hi Fi Corp and ...

I have the 91 SFA without a diff lock... and on the axel twisters is where I get bollie from my buds in there "other" bakkies...

The rear diff is the sealed type... so how I do get around this small problem, without having to change the diff for one with a lock on it ???

Doc V, I'm thinking about the same conversion :? If you do go ahead is it to get better speed up the hills ? or is it only for the consumption ? I'l watch this space and possibly follow your lead... If anyone wants to see photos of my new one just check out the :shock: "payfine.co.za" :x
