I am able to losen the bolt but not hit it down through the lower control arms, I could only possibly hit it with a punch upwards through the control arm, but then the bar would absorb most of the impact?

The bakkies horn still works. And I open up the door in the mornings forgetting about the alarm. When the alarm goes off, lights flashing, there is a very slight sound, more a sickly crakkle. To check the connections, where does the horn and siren sit? Have checked all the fuses, none have gone.
