hi all Turns out that it was not an electrical fault and according to Toyota it is the actuator on the diff that is not working They said that it will be R6500, does anyone of you know where I can find a secondhand one . . .or of another plan I can make? or should I just cough up and let them fix it?

hi Mufasa i would suggest you call Toyota and find out what the retail is on the prado that should give you a good indication also look on gumptree to see what other prado's for the same model go for with the same Km's also bougt a new bakkie just now and they would not finance it for maore than the...

every how many Km do you have to do the major(cambelt service) on the hilux KZTE 2005?

i have looked at the service manual but all the pages look the same and says that you need to inspect
but there is no clear instrucktion on when this service has to happen?

when i was looking for my bakkie I got a lot of these, when you phone the people they are not the ones who advertised the bakkie . . .
usually it is someone who has a grudge against them that do this so they will be annoyed by all the people calling for the “deal of the century “

ok . . . i checked all the fuses nothing wrong there i tested the diff lock, it is defenetly not working i still sit with the problem that if i push the RR diff button the diff doesn't engage, no lights go on on the dash. can anyone please direcet me to where i can start troubleshooting this probelm...
