That's the same as most 2700i's?
Could very well be an option

The 4.0 V6 prices are looking good , worried 'bout consumption though. Will need it to commute as well.

Re: 3.0 KZ-TE vs 3.0 D4D

With the new shape Hilux looming, it would make more sense to buy the D4D, but I still love the IFS shape :problem:

IFS's are still too expensive IMHO.

3.0 KZ-TE vs 3.0 D4D

Really a follow on from the Price trend thread... What is your opinion: Red 2004 KZ-TE 218 000k m for R149 995 or White 2007 D-4D 193 000 km for R214 900 ? Mileage virtually the same...Price wise the KZ is more within my reach, but R214k for a 2007 D4D is almost too good to be true as most of them a...

Re: for sale trend

Tx Chris, but actually looking for a KZ... Anyway, back to topic, I see a lot of 4x2 KZ's around and the prices seem to drop; saw a 2005 legend 35 for R139k the other day. Not sure if it is dodgy or just someone who priced it right  What is the going rate for an IFS 2.7 4x4 204/2005-ish follo...

Re: KZTeasy come easy go!!

Too desperate to make a proper decision. Anyway, took delivery of brand new 2010 Polo today, so mommy is happy.
I'll maar have to drive me 2007 Polo while looking for a decent 4x4 & trade it in or buy older model 4x4 as third vehicle

Re: Fair price Legend 35

Some people take book & retail as the same thing. I this case the Retail is R148k with Trade-in around R135K according to McCarthy Toyota (from their little book) The site I mentioned lists Estimated Book, Retail & Trade-in, thus I guess agents retail as above = estimated book & Retail as per site i...

Fair price Legend 35

What do you think is a fair price for a 2005 Legend 35 KZ 4x2, 95 000km? Book is R148k, can't remember trade-in. Can get one for R169 900, but is too steep for 4x2, I'm thinking R155k tops. It is not listed on the site below, but according to the site a 2005 3.0 D-4D R/B Raider should retail R161k m...

Tx Gert :)

Re: KZTeasy come easy go!!

Hi What's a Transunion Report? Bundu, it is also referred to as an HPI. Basically you input the VIN number & it checks if the engine number matches, and verifies the year model. Also check if it is of "stolen interest" and it will list the enquiries done by banks/dealers (if any) etc with the milea...

KZTeasy come easy go!!

After only 2 days I am Lux-less (or luckless??)  Turns out my wagon is not a 2003 with 136000km's but a 2002 that already clocked 269000km's in 2008  :o: Also seems that there has been some work done to the doors on the right. My gut is a little upset right now  Bit concerned 'bout the service history, worst case I'd need a new engine(not sure what it costs (Holden motor import +- R18k). Re: New

Here are the pics; dealer bought it at auction & did some work on it.

Piet, the autotrader one you suggested is a bit dodge, saw it at the dealer (Inspectacar), 250 000 km+; looks like it worked hard; I can get a 2004 KZTE 4x4 with 250k on clock for R149 950, body work also taken a beating though.

Hello All,

Not a 4x4 owner yet...might own a 2003 3.0 KZTE 4x4 (all I can afford). looking at buying one with 136k Km for R149k. Still wanna haggle over the price as it has the 4x2 steel rims with crappy tyres & not the original alloys.
