Common Cuckoo being fed by a Wagtail. Cuckoos are clever birds. The Female lays her single egg in another birds nest. The other bird then hatches the egg and raises the chic. Sometimes the Cuckoo would push out the other birds eggs before she lays her egg.

It sounds like a bargain. They are awsome 4x4's and very hard to find with low kilo's To give you an idea mine is a '02 with 105 000, in showroom condition. Offers in excess of R160K wont interest me.

Interesting, Willem can't wait to check your progress. I like your idea of going the S/charger route rather than the Turbo. I assume there's no need to replace pistons /any "inards" What increase in performance do expect? i.e. KW and N.m?

The 2.7i pre-face lift and face lift (or Bullnose) fuel consumption difference is marginal (see reasons elswhere on the forum). This, I advise should not be factor as you may just not find a good example again if it presents itself. I see the 2.7i's are more sought after these days and unfortunately...

I hear the new engines although better in the performance stakes and consumption (albeit slight) are very reliable but they do not last as long as the old 2.7i's do (@ 376 000Km yours was just run in!)
