Re: Watse ding is die..? Sensor vir....?
No, it's the light sensor for the auto on/off settings of the headlights. On the latest gen of Vigo's there's a auto position for the headlights on the controls. To confirm, during the day, turn the headlights control to the auto position, then cover the light sensor with your hand and the headlight...

For data I'm currently using Telkom LTE 10GB/m. To be honest 10GB isn't enough as I want to subscribe to Netflix. So I've been holding out for Telkom for launch their new uncapped LTE-Advance packages in our area, but that might still take years! I tried ADSL, but our area's got a max speed of 2mbps...

What MTN and Vodacom are moaning about is the fact that smart mobile phones don't have to use their networks anymore. Hi Mark,

Hi Jaco, The part you are referring to is called the rack-end ball joint. There's one on the left and right side. I replaced mine on the V6 at about 200,000km as well. It is possible to do the job yourself if you are a handy DIY enthusiast, but it can be a bit tricky to loosen the joints themselves....

I loved my V6, but as an every day city drive is was just too expensive on fuel. My D4D's worst fuel consumption(7.8km/l) is still better than the V6's best(7.3km/l). Both are auto's. We won't talk about the V6's worst fuel consumption! I agree though that if you looking at a 10yr old vehicle I'd pr...

It's possible the firing module(usually a TP100) is fried, or not earthing properly again the body. That black wire that's been cut is definitely very important. It's the "proper" earth for the firing module. Often a body earth is not good enough and makes the unit overheat and die in time...

If there isn't enough space for a viscous fan, i'd seriously consider a fixed fan. Super reliable, excellent cooling and less space required. Then add 2 side vented bonnet scoops so the rising stagnant air can escape.
