I would also suggest replacing it sooner rather than later. If it rains on the way down, dusty/muddy water and muck will get in there, and mess the CV up, and it could mean that you end up stranded outside a small Karoo town where parts are not available. Something similar happened to us in Namibia ...

I have had the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) cut out and replaced by a straight pipe. Then I had the huge silencer cut out and replaced by a small freeflow box. I dont think they are too worried about making up points. Although Tiaan and Mikey are a formidable team, they are mostly in it for the fun, not so much to win the series. Hopefully they will be at the next one, in the Tankwa at night, on 30 June. :thumbup:

Why do you want to retain the roll bar under the aluminium canopy? It just takes up a lot of very useful space and adds unnecessary weight? And an Aluminium canopy will do the same job as a normal roll bar. Google it, there are lots of roll-over picks proving it.

Chris I had Jasper Compion from Fixit Paving at my place. He dis a very nice job, for a very competitive price. They re-paved my enite driveway to also incorporate the car-port. :thumbup:
