Friends of mine have just this last weekend, 'climbed' Sani Pass, the road is smooth all the way up, the trucks and bulldozers are still on the slopes. No snow but the temp was -5. Owning a winch meant that I could launch and recover my boat on my own, never got to use it for recovery. Sold it with the boat and never bothered to get another one. All that extra weight for a "just in case"
