I know this is an old topic . But i am going to need to extend my breathers .. Because they are screwed into the diff with no extensions ...I see you guys are pulling them into the engine bay . From what i understand . Your pulling the rear diff breather all the way from the back into the engine bay ?

Good morning all . Seems a while since this topic has run . I have a 2.4 sfa d/c 4x4 . Just recently got it . Havent ventured much in , I have definitely tested the 4x4 .. Unreal stuff . I have just changed the engine oil with castrol 20w-50 .Oil that came out looked like black water .. Not great.. ...

She definitely a 2.4 . Not sure if thats better than the 2.2 reliability wise , But none the less am happy .

I havent had my SFA very long , onr day only , Need to test the waters a bit , get some new rubber on her an see how she goes before i venture too far from home .

Hi all , Thank you for accepting me on this forum . I have just purchased a 1996 4x4 SFA D/C. Looking forward to finding out more on these vehicles . It has the 2.2 Petrol engine , It sounds fine , But has been opened in the past , Hopefully what ever problem it may of had , is fixed now .
