They tested these Race chips etc on the dyno, and he confirmed, they do make the extra power they claim, but he told me if you saw how high the EGT temps went, you will get a heart attack..... The fact that the exhaust burns grey in normal use tells me the air:fuel ratio is too lean.

A healthy engine running leaded fuel should only burn grey when used on the open road.

I have heard in the old days guys dropped some brake fluid in the carb and then some water. Sometimes, apparently, with enough carbon in the engine, the engine would seize up due to the volume of solids now stuck on top of the pistons.... Where would the solids go? Time for fresh gearbox oil and a new filter.

If you make it back home with the gearbox intact, consider having the oil changed by a machine that flushes oit the whole system. The add 2 tubes of Dr Tranny.

It should solve the slipping clutches issue (IF it was not damaged completely)

Maybe time to pull iut the radiator? A mate almost lost his Pajero'a engine due to a partially blocked radiator. As I type this, I am busy cleaning up the radiator and intercooler of our Freelander - 220 000km and you will not believe all the crap that was blocking the radiator. I guess around 30-40...

Remove the diesel filter. Check that the seal is not damaged, nor 2 seal on top of each other or that there is indeed a seal.

Fiter might also just be loose.

Die groot kopseer is altyd die elektronika maar ek dink daai boksie kan nou af getick word as uitgesorteer.

Hoe moelik kan dit nou wees? Nuwe bellhousing, enjin mounts en verkoeling. Prop ecu in en laat waai!

They all sit in the middle of the dail untill it is too late - it then jumps into the red zone.

Dtandard Kz diff ratio's are 3.73 AFAIR but you will need the Kz box as I don't think the 5L box will last long behind a Lexus.

Personally, I would leave the diffs as is and tyre up - either 33 or 35's!
