Can only agree with Tony. I had both. Airbag just too large to carry around as a regular piece of equipment !! A friend bought it, he only puts it in for trail days ... wonder if he still puts it in .... ONE downside of the airbag - be very careful where you put it !! NOT all parts under the chassis...

in a life before 4x4 we traveled SA on a motorcycle. Obviously no space for a "large" camera. My Powershot was always in my pocket. Have very fond memories of this camera !!

Andy the GoPro uses standard cards, same as your cameras. So very easy to swop out.

The dashcams use the micro-SD card. So now you need an adaptor to read the information, or remove the camera to link it via cable to your PC.

Andy the Powershot range are true P&S cameras - with "only" 10 times zoom. The SX60 is the leader in the "bridge camera" group. Better than a P&S - well more functionality - and has some rediculous zoom, up to an equivalent 1 000 mm lens !! Absolutely no way you can hold ...

I got the SX60, understanding its limitations, while I already had DSLR cameras. There are times when I NEED the functionality of the DSLR's. Action shots and low light shots .... But for a quick holiday shot the SX60 really is a gem ! to get the range and versatality of a SX60 in a DSLR means a bag...

Andy as an "action cam" GoPro certainly is up there with the best. Decent video quality. Very good sound quality. And most importantly water and dust proof. AND when your unit does get scratched by a branch you can buy replacement covers. Battery life is a bit of an issue ... Depending on ...

hehehe .... Andy that's why I added the word "excessive" in my post. Even the diabetic diet allows for some indulgence - dependant on the type of diagnoses. This gent, in his 30's, that knows he is diabetic, but refuses meds and refuses to be tested ... sorry but I just cant understand that.
