Hi Gary, Welcome to the forum. I've owned both the 2.2 and the 2.4 and although the 2.2 is a classic, I prefer the performance of the 2.4. Being in a hurry is an option ;-) It is thirsty though. On the N7, approx 20kms after Citrusdal (from CPT), there's a turn-off to the right which crosses the Oliphants River and becomes a gravel mountain pass that links the N7 to the road on which the Algeria campsite can be found. Roughly halfway up, there's a 4x4 sign on the right hand side of the road...
