Safely back from leave. It is very hot here at the moment, been between 40 and 45 this last week, so only done a few small odds. Mooi pics Pieter, ja ek ken vir Don goed. my baas Hansie en Don is groot pelle, hy gaan elke jaar saam Don op n trip. Hy was 2 jaar terug saam Don in die duine toe Giniel De Villers en die Toyota span daar getoets het. Daai motor van Don was een van die motors wat hulle getoets het.

Done a bit over the last 2 weeks. Painted the cab floor and wheel arches black stone chip. Started refitting a few odds in engine bay. Today I sprayed the doors. Will continue when I come back from leave.

No it is too thin. A Tig welder or gas will do the job. :thumbup: I have welded thin plate with 2mm rods by clamping a piece of copper flat bar behind the weld. also just tack at spacers and slowly get a full weld. You do end up with some warping and does not look good as grinding smooth is also di...

Have been doing a few small things since I last posted. Fitted the vents and scoop, still need to finish them off. Has been so hot here, only been working in the mornings. Got my paint yesterday, my hands were so itchy this morning that I sprayed the engine bay just to check the colour.

Ek is ook nie n elektrisien nie . As jy n breaker oop maak sal jy sien dat jou bo kant solid is, die contactor op die lever is spring loaded en ek dink dat dit is die rede vir bo in en onder uit. Dis net hoe ek dit sien.Ek sal n pic neem van een en vanaand post.

Today I sanded the fenders and panel above the wipers. Did not under coat, was too windy. Cut the bonnet for the vents and scoop.

Haha, Chris, hy sal seker sometime volgende jaar klaar wees. Die December moet ek plaas oppas. Gaan eers in Januarie op verlof, kan nie wag nie. Ons gaan n boot trip na Walvis Baai op die 15 Jan vat vir 5 dae, as ons terug is trou my dogter, dan is ek broke.
