The BM`s V12`s also pruduce alot of heat so all they have done is used metal heat shealds over the vital areas and the they put scoops in the covers under the vechile to pull air over the manifold area.

However I had a similar problem on mine last year and it turned out to be the gasket and corrosion on the head so I had my trusty engineer repair the head and put on a new gasget.
