Chris, water enters the engine on the thermostat side. The Top radiator hose is the outlet hose and water falls slowly down the radiator channels in order to cool down, cooler water enter from the bottom hose. Pieter, Bear in mind that the Autobox oil also needs to reach a certain temperature in order to operate optimum. Therefore the water temp from the radiator helps the box reach temperature soon and maintain it. The oil cooler is located in the lower radiator tank which is the cooler one. A hot gearbo...

Pieter as dit die standaard ECU is moet daai iets anders wees vermoed ek omdat as dit die camshaft positioning sensor is sal die enjin nie glad loop nie en ook swaar of glad nie start nie.

Pieter watse management hardloop dei Surf mee??? Daai drade kan die camshaft position sensors gewees het wat die wasted spark gehardloop het op die standaard ECU. Dit sal n ground wire he asook n signal wire en soms 2 ander drade ook.

Double cabs 65L capacity and single cab 73L capacity.
97 & 98 models came out with square tanks, 80L capacity on the Double cabs 4x4 and 100L on the single cab 4x4's.

Pieter dit is n baie mooi report en ja mens is sommer dadelik lus en vat die pad!!! Moet se ek kan ook se dat n Hilux in 4H en 2H het n groot brandstof verbruik verskil. Veral oor lang afstande. Gelukkig met die regte banddruk en besstuurstegniek kan mens sonder moeite maklik by baie plekke uitkom.

So I had a generous offer on the tyres that was on the Prado which was about 40% worn. I wasn't a big fan off the Dunlops fitted however they didnt perform really that bad in general driving conditions i was still looking for a new set of tyres. Shakir, See my Prado has a Tarre weight of 1890 kg, thus I can safely and legally tow 750kg unbraked behind my vehicle. The GCM for my vehicle is 5750 kg which gives it a 2800 kg tow rating as the Maximum mass the vehicle itself can weigh is 2950 kg. On the Other hand my SFA tip the scales empty @14...

HI Shakir, Any unbraked trailer may not weigh more than 50% of the license (tarre mass) of your vehicle and it is limited to a maximum weight of 750kg irrespective if your vehicle weighs 2000kg or more empty. Jaco the 4.0lt v6 1GR motor has got timing chains. The 5VZ-fe motor has got a belt that is due toe be replaced every 100000 km pre facelift models and facelift models is due at 150000 km inrervals.

Thanks to all the guys that organized the event. It was great fun and enjoyed meeting the new People and also the guys from far away!!! Also thanks to Imperial Toyota that made an effort to be there and add to the fun!! Really great to have days like these out with friends!!

Try and get hold of Hoppy. He should be able to tell you where to source one.

Post a picture of the damage and how they managed to get it off. Maybe the other people with Fortuners can benefit from having a advance warning on how they operate.

Dawie ja hulle behoort uit te betaal maar ek gaan ook se dit hang van versekering af.

Iets wat jy in ag moet neem is dat wanneer jou sleepwa van jou voertuig af gesteel word waar jy staan, of uit n kamp plek gaan hulle niks uitbetaal nie.

Johan, a couiple of things: 2. The radio heatsink should not really get that hot, but is there airflow around it? -F_D Eric, It has 6 holes below the heatsink and also not very clear in the photo's is the sides next to the radio is not tight fit as has approx 5mm gap either side to allow some breat...
