Had a look last night and it was off. So I zip tied it back on. I had fiddled with to aircon controls recently. The backlights were not working.
And, yes, I had been using the aircon on the day I noticed the water dripping from the passenger side door.

And I have exactly the same issue. Haven't looked for what might cause it but seeing that we don't have water in Cpe Town and my bakkie has not been washed in months, I ruled that option out.

The D4D has a filling container with marks for cold (low, high) and hot (low, high). Very convenient.

Does anybody know if the 3.0 D4D intercooler will be a straight fit on a 2.5 D4D engine (2013 model)?
Is it worth it or should I rather look at an aftermarket intercooler?

If it is possible, what items should be on my picklist? So I can go to scrapyard and start searching for all the items I need

Dean, out of interest: how old (kilos) is your bakkie? Did you do anything else to it after you had it chiped (eg. service, change exhaust, tires, etc.)

That light should come on when you engage 4x4. Shifting from 2H to 4H. Possible that it can be the switch that is suspect? Not sure where it is located though.

I have had both shocks in one of my previous bakkies. Gabriel Safaries and HDP. HDP is leagues better than the Safari. I would buy the HDP if the price is right for you.

Would I buy it again? Not sure. Nobody that I asked in Cape Town seems to sell Gabriels.

Shortly after I bought my bakkie I had all the oils replaced. Insurance on my part for not knowing what the previous owner did (or not). Just replace it, you have nothing to lose.

The original tire size for my SRX is 205/80R16. Same size as 235/70R16.
Profile for 235/85R16 is heigher than your original and the size change from 30.6 to 31.7"

Hendrik, 8.5" wydte rims is te wyd vir my. Soek iets soos 7" want is op soek na hoer profiel band. En dan moet ek breer band ook vat. Miskien is 15" rims die beter opsie

I accidentally disturbed one of the wire plugs of the airbag sensor, that caused the light to come on when I was busy fixing one of the air vents. Maybe just check behind the glovebox if there is not a loose wire plug
