Agree with running 31" tyres. Bulldog has them fitted and no issues whatsoever, although I also have replaced the suspension with OME springs & shocks throughout. Power delivery is fine and the speedo is now 100% accurate, inline with the GPS.

Having no experience of the dual piston kit I cannot answer this but I can most definitely speak well of the Powerbrake kit - it really makes a difference! It also saved a dog's life once when he came running out from the veld into the road. The Hilux stopped quickly and in a straight line.

Although the fuse has not blown, the contact points have most probably corroded. Did you remove the fuse and check that the contact points are still good? Spraying the fuse box contacts with a good Contact Spray / Switch Cleaner (not WD40) might be a good thing to try.

If it is an old tracking device, it can draw up to 800mA as the device attempts to charge an old battery. Had this problem with the first generation Netstar. Changed to a newer Netstar and no further problem.

Try measure the voltage of the battery, might be an oldish one and lost some of its charge. Try measure with no load as well as when pressing the remote button if you possibly can.

Silly question, but is the new battery 100%? Is it making proper contact? Is there a little red light or not on the remote to indicate whether its working or not? Presumably you only have the one remote, not a duplicate?
