Not too shabby in the sand and shallow mud. An often underrated little vehicle.

I think it utilizes the AWD visco drive couplings like a lot of the other smaller RV's ..... almost like having diff-locks.

I've been thinking of replacing my daily runner Uno with one of these, but fear I'll never get to drive it cause, the wife will intercept it on a permanent basis! The only issue we ever encounter with the red one, besides the ground clearance, was that the vacuum assist locking hubs gave trouble every now and then... all we did to remedy was to open the hub and turn the locking gear round, so it's permanently engaged, and then reserve this before heading home...

A friend of mine in Aussie had a red Kia Sportage, and the Kia went everywhere the guys in the bigger better Toyota branded vehicles went. It is a very underrated and very capable little 4x4 with L/R.   And it also never broke down...
