V8 LAND ROVER
Hey guys
just got my self a 1981 series 3 stage 1, so it looks like 109 defender body with a series 3 chassis susspension and breaks, it has a sailsbury rear diff and rover front, 4 speed rover g/box with a 3.5 rover v8.
as its not my every day car i can take my time and modify it.
the plans so far are, power stearing, disk brakes from a later defender.
then remove the original twin SU's and replace with weber 500 and edelbrock manifold, a mild cam, and a full engine rebuild.
i know its a rover but hey its great fun to drive.

Re: V8 LAND ROVER
i prefer single carb compared to dual and the weber set up has more power and gets better economy.

Re: V8 LAND ROVER
Nice one Tinman
I must be honest deep down i am 'n closet LR fan.
My first car was a series 3 LR.
I want to build a Landrover Defender 100"
Basically a defender body on a RangeRover chassis with the Rover 3.5 V8
Hilux is still my first choice though, the LR build will just be a project, and for playing
