Increase power and decrease fuel consumption

Increase power and decrease fuel consumption

I am thinking of making some modifications to my Tata Xenon.

I would like to be able to decrease my fuel consumption for in town driving and increase performance when driving off road (more torque?) and maybe a higher top end.

Does anyone have any suggestions. I love the car as is, but I always want to go one better.

Fit smaller tyres! You'll have better performance and better fuel consumption!

If its a diesel then try LPG injection, it will acheive both

Friend of mine in Hazeyview fietted a toyota petrol engine and gearbox in his tata, cost him R22000 for the conversion, he says it's worth it. Don't know about the fuel consumption :?:
