Yes the Lexus is a popular motor coversion ..... powerful, light-weight, reliable, fuel economic and relatively cheap to source. ;-)

Jeepie, clearly you are missing something here. He is replacing the jeep motor with a Toyota motor... clearly he has seen the light. :twisted:

We usually just pop into the Oranjaville or Deneysville quarries but sometimes go to Parys as well haven't been to the loch vaal hotel place will definitely go there with you guys... we are about a group op 5 friends that always go together would be great if we can make it a little bigger...

Was gister by Mark. Jeep nou op die lift so die exhausts moet gedoen word die radiator (myne was op) en die drade klaar maak. Behoort die Jeepie volgende Saterdag te kry hou duime. Dit lyk sover baie nice. Mark maak ook die tappet covers en intake dieselfde kleur as die Jeep en nou is dit weg met daai Toyota wat daar op staan :surrender: . Sal fotos opsit van die vordering.

@ Hangover joune gaan darem goed lyk daai VVT motor is vrek mooi.

@Hangover dalk sien ons mekaar die naweek. Hoop Mark kry klaar hy het so paar goed gehaad wat hom agter gesit het.
@Jaco ek gebruik die lexus ratkas ook my ratkas het gebreuk en pryse net te veel dis hoekom ek die conversion doen
@Johann ja dit was 'n 3.1 td engine is nog 100 net ratkas gebreuk.

Mark vat hom vir 'n dyno sal die syfers opsit as hy klaar is

So ne 'n update. Jeep gaan vandag vir dyno klaar by aircon so hy is nou amper klaar. Mark het 'n paar goed reg gemaak wat nie eers verwag was nie so die kar gaan so te se slinter nuut wees. Dalk kan ek nog Hartenbos toe met hom.

Wat 'n fees het my jeep terug. Mark het 'n GREAT job gedoen. Tot goed gedoen wat nie eers verwag was nie. Op die oomblik net 2wd Mark sal in Januarie die voorste prop uitsort die jeeps het maar swak voor props. Kan nie wag om te gaan speel nie. Als werk net nie die cruise controll nie maar dit pla nie te veel nie hy ry lekkerder met die regter voet :twisted: . Sal fotos opsit maar nou eers vakansie. Ps petrol verbruik lyk ok nie te bad nie sal laat weet as ek vol gemaak het en pics ook laai maar dit moet wag tot na my vakansie.

Tans is die verbruik so 5 km per liter maar dis met 'n swaar voet. Sal later in die maad terug vat as Mark die prop reg het sover meer as 1000 km gery prebleem vry net die aircon werk nie maar sal dit uitsort. Sal fotos opsit moet net die kabel onthou
